| About 3 years ago Pa¡n began to form, almost by accident. On a Friday night out in town, German SantamariÂa (guitars) and Rodrigo McKay (bass) were hanging out at the famous "desert bar" when they run into Jorge "Tercero" Loaiza (former drummer of "Cage 9") and after some buzz sipping and babe sighting, they decided to give the project a go. Shortly thereafter German and Rodrigo invited Gilberto Jaen, vocalist of their former band "Dear John" to howler at the rehearsal studio. After almost a year of working on own songs and jamming covers, Gilberto left to dedicate himself to personal and more passionate non-musical stuff!. Then former singer of Pota, Raul Montilla, who had been singing at the local scene without a cause and who had worked with Tercero in some already lost studio projects, took his place and finally filled the vacancy for lead singer, giving the band a fresh spin into their mostly wanted grunge and rockier sound. After sharpening their riffs and figuring out some poetry to fit them, just in time for the session, the band finally went into "Insomnio" studios for a demo recording back in November 2006. In 24 hours they got the tracks for their first 5 songs: "We belong to the Night", "You", "Sober", "Twisted" , "Generation" (... actually, sounds good as a phrase...) Any way, thanks to the guys at Insomnio, the band has taken (with Tercero at the stirring wheel) a bit more time to work on the mixes; and at the moment, they are setting them up to deliver a great - kick ass - grunge - alternative sound, mostly influenced by the vibes of Alice in Chains, Creed, (John Bonham drumming!) and Pearl Jam and newer tunes from Alterbridge, Trapt, 3 doors down.......among others. Around 2008, Felix "El Cuz" Robles (former band called ZET)joined the band in the guitar dept., spreading his twisted refreshing ideas. Along the way, this young band of old wolves has played in local bars: Liverpool and Koppas, and they are looking forward to let you feel them shaking the ground - LIVE..... Get Twisted you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our tune "We belong to the Night" was awarded as "Track of the Day" and will be featuring next Friday, the 5th of October, 2007 at WWW.GARAGEBAND.COM front page.
