About Me
SUBMERGE 101 is IMPACT MECHANICSOrlando Solis' genre-busting turntable skills and production work have earned him a solid worldwide reputation as an innovative Techno Dj. He favors a unique blend of funky house and European hyper speed techno. Recently featured for weeks on White Noise radio and charted by Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, as well as Split radios own Chris Finke, he has been featured in the Miami Times newspaper as one of the next top 100 techno Dj's in the US. Orlando runs Impact Mechanics records, a Chicago based indie Techno imprint. The label has become one of the fastest growing and most sought after Techno labels around the globe. Establishing significant involvement with Techno's top producers and DJ's, Impact Mechanics is recognized as a creditable source for quality Techno. After anthem releases Steve Poindexter's - "Computer Madness" and Robert Armani's - "Ambulance", Impact Mechanics has expanded their roster, releasing material from well respected artists from all corners of the world. Ultimately, by not focusing on one certain style of Techno, Impact Mechanics continues it's mission of being innovative and eclectic. To date, Impact Mechanics has front page ad space and exclusive releases on Beatport, featured on TrackitDown, Dance Tracks Digital, and Juno Download, in addition to being charted by heavy hitters such as; The Advent, Ben Sims, Judge Jules, Carl Cox and Richie Hawtin.
