I grew up around music all my life, with my mom, Reatha Mae, being a singer of gospel, and my dad, Rubin Earl, playing and singing the blues, the two influences, is how my style came about................After a very long hiatus from writing, I decided to give it a try again. I prayed to God to help me to make my own music, and He answered my prayers. In 2003, I started making homemade recordings , on digital 8 track, and 16 track keyboard, and a CD burner............................... 2004, to 2007, I recieved seven honorable mentions from Billboard's World Songwriting Contest.
