| Being a lesbian affects everything, EVERYTHING, about me. It’s who I am, right down to the marrow. I paint women because I love women. I paint dogs and cats because as a lesbian I know they are often the most supportive, loving family members that some lesbians will ever have! I create lesbian t-shirts because I refuse to be silent about being a lesbian. What am I passionate about? I’m passionate about living a lesbian life, and all the good and bad that it entails in our culture. I'm an optimist despite constantly being proven wrong.
