If you'd like to message any of the band members click their link below Rick Rayburn-Rhythm Guitar/Lead Guitar Rick is one of the the main pieces to why this band got together. Rick has not only brought creativity in his original riffs but his in-your-face-lyrics will grab your attention at the start of any of his songs. Having overcome many obstacles in his life, he has put his self to the test by writing songs that can adhere to any walk of life. His leadership qualities challenged every member to not only to make the songs "are own" but to push the song into a whole new genre of music. While having many roles in the band, including being the artistic talent of all the artwork, he and Larry have took it upon themselves to also write the tablature to all the music. "Teach is to accomplishment as to learn is monumental" Earnest Hemingway. For Rick Click Here Larry Gardner-Drums Larry is also one of the intricate pieces of the puzzle. Larry started playing drums at the early age 9. His sense of musical style originates from many different styles from hard rock to jazz. Considered to be the "drive" of most of the songs, he pushes everyone to play at the highest level, encouraging the morale of every beat. Along with helping out with the tablature on the songs Larry has been known to throw in back-up vocals to achieve that full, bold sound that is Novelty Shoppe. The "drive" that was mentioned earlier extends from a quote that Larry has said time and time again, "I feel that the creativity of all members is what brings this unique sound to life, this is what music is all about." For Larry Click Here James Mercer Bass James came to the band with great knowledge of the music. He was a late additon to Novelty Shoppe but has stepped up his game to fill a tough role. Having been in many bands before, he takes great pride in bringing the absoulte best in his ability. Although he had to learn the existing music, he also has been a help in the development of the new songs, and has brought his own unique style and tremendous bass lines, thus completing the puzzle Check this out!!!!!! Influences: Larry-drummers influences, Dream Theatre, Killswitch Engage, Tool, Soulfly, Avenged senenfold, various Jazz artists, some punk, Synthmix , some big band, and lots of mainstream rock and hip hop! Rick's influences, Older Metallica, Skynyrd, Segar, Zepplin, Aerosmith. Some old school rap and hip hop, All the people that likes what I do. But I think my biggest influence is those few select people (you know who you are) that said I couldn't do it. What now bitches?
