BEARS BABY!!!!!!!!So I've recorded a few tracks for my new band "A PERMANENT HOLIDAY" and I'm stoked on them.For all the Mest fans: I appreciate your dedication to me as a singer/songwriter/frontman, but the truth is my new band is nothing like Mest. i LOVE music more than anything and one thing I've grown up to and believed in and was taught by my "idols" (which I've soon found out not to many of them actually believe in it themselves) is that music is about expression, having fun and just being proud of what you create.So here it is- if you like my new band, thank you. If you don't, well thank you for at least giving it a chance.It's just music. It's not your life, it's not a movement, it's not a lifestyle. The way you live is a lifestyle- not the clothes you wear, the way you look, or the bands you listen to. No matter how much you wanna argue, your hair style, the clothes you wear, and the bands you've liked have changed within the past 7 years. All of that is just part of life.Have a good time. Quit trying to belong. Don't worry about people accepting you, cuz you have to accept yourself first. In reality that's really all we are all trying for- to be content.I came out to California for a few reasons but got sidetracked, lost my focus, and had to rethink EVERYTHING. It's funny how all it takes is a quick trip back home to realize who really cares about you and what really matters. I Love my friends and family more than anything and in time of need you find out who they are (those are the ones that don't turn their back on you).As the wise L.L Cool J once quoted "I'm goin back to cali" For myself this time ;) And once I get there, shit's gonna happen faster than you could imagine and I will have a new record out quicker than you think.Music is my life. | |

| One night I had a dream. I was walking along the beach with the Lord, and across the skies flashed scenes from my life. In each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand. One was mine, and one was the Lord's. Television:the two best shows ever FULL HOUSE, and SAVED BY THE BELL!!!! It seems as if they followed my schedule my whole life. From the old T.G.I.F. days and saturday mornings when i was a kid to now when im still up at 4 in the morning (Full House back to back) and Saved by the Bell at 6 am when im tossing and turning trying to fall asleep... I fucking love T.V. but try not to watch it cause its like a huge line of coke, once you start it youll be staring at it the rest of the night..... |
