| Hi, this is Mael. I’m not so young, but I’m new in the business.Making music has been my obsession for more than 20 years. Recently, a trip to Istanbul (Turkey) was the trigger. I decided to buy a workstation and then… it exploded. Today I have enough audio material to burn 8 CDs. And I’m still working. And still looking for synths because they help me a lot, as I work alone.As you can see, my music goes many dirrections, it doesn’t fit with one specific genre. As a teenager I was fond of progressive rock (YES, GENESIS, JETHRO TULL, KING CRIMSON, GENTLE GIANT) and those days electronica (EMERSON, VANGELIS, TOMITA, SCHULZE, WAKEMAN). Of course, the experiments of early PINK FLOYD releases and the power of rockers like LED ZEPPELIN or ROLLING STONES marked my development. I think I’ve got the best of XX’th century pop music.Then I married a professional musician who guided me into the universe of classical music wich is too rich to name preferences.Then, studying Antropology, I discovered ethnic music, ritual and spiritual. The world of the ancients, the basic. This was the beginning in understanding modern art.Consequently my music is a cultural fusion. This definition may look too classy, but the music is both intelligent and beautiful. Genuine and sophisticated. Like a rare and precious woman. And just like a precious woman, it requires all your attention and care. It’s not music for dance, it’s not music for meditation, it is not music for anything. It’s just music. All you have to do is listening carefully. The rest will come…It was hard for me to find some songs smaller than 6 mb, as MySpace requires. My tracks are usually bigger and dense, with rich textures and colourfull ambients. Every piece is a story… a history. They are linked, one after one, in epic successions configuring thematic projects. There are 3 projects (until now), waiting for a producer to bring them on stage. You know, I think a show could generate a greater impact than a CD or even a double CD. And it’s a better seller.Well, I’m here today because I want to share. And the best way to get to you all is finding the right producer for my music. Someone with courage, wisdom… and money. You see, my projects are - everybody could say - too expensive. And the music is not… commercial. OK, I gave some concerts as a free-lancer, but this is too much for me. I need professional assistance for BIG RELEASES. Sounds Like: ... my dreams ... Hi, Christmas is comming, so here you have some season releases. As a scholar I'm very attracted by ancient winter rites of my home-land in Eastern Europe. And as an artist I think they are a priceless source of inspiration. My ancestors, the Thracians, developed complicated ceremonies in order to get back the SUN who wanted to leave them at winter time. In some of our villages those pagan rites are still in use - together with Christian Christmas celebration. Come and have a look! I wish you a Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year! Some technical details: the first 3 tracks are made on an early YAMAHA workstation. Hard work, but the sounds fit with the idea. Now I think they deserve a remake on my new tools.
