Hey everyone! Thanks for stopping by my mediasite and for all the support I've received over the years! :) I've been keeping busy but will be doing my best to keep updating my site with all the latest! Much Luv Always, xoxoxo CJ Driven with a passion for performing was apparent to everyone who knew CJ Jimenez, from a young age. Born and raised in a small central California town, CJ put on shows at family gatherings since the age of 5. Her family noticed talent in the young bright brown-eyed little girl and encouraged her to get involved in the arts, where she later began performing in school and church plays. Over the years that love for performing continued to grow on CJ. To get her career off the ground, she did television commercials, short student films, print modeling, and started hip-hop dancing. After getting a taste of everything she realized that her true passions lie in Acting and TV Hosting. CJ decided to learn more about her craft while attending California State University-Fresno. Working towards her BA in Mass Communications & Journalism, and a Minor in Theatre Arts-Drama, she kept herself busy serving as anchor and reporter for Fresno State Focus. Soon after, she took on the role of an on-location reporter for “The Art Show” also at Fresno State. That same semester she interned for KSEE-TV, working closely with reporters and producers, learning the ins and outs of the news business. Later, Telemundo asked CJ to interview and organize packages to air on their “May Day” Immigration coverage special in 2006. All of her hard work paid off and at graduation she was the recipient of the prestigious Outstanding Broadcast Journalism Student Award for 2005-06. CJ continues to make waves in the entertainment industry. Her acting and hosting achievements are fast becoming impressive and she has many projects in store for 2008. CJ hopes to one day land a role in a television series, and also report all the top entertainment stories to the world as the host of an entertainment news show. With her dedication and big heart there’s no doubt you will hear more about CJ Jimenez in the years to come. |
