Ionia, Michigan is located in the Heart of ♥ Michigan! My name is Polly. I am not a musician, I can't sing. But I do like to help my parents promote Bluegrass, Folk and Country Music. My page is about, "The Ionia Bluegrass Country Show/Jam!" My parents put together this monthly show in Ionia ♥ Michigan. Fun for all!" ♥Sunday, April 6th 2008 Ionia Show Lineup ♥ !!BAKE SALE IN THE FOYER!! 1:00 1:30 2:00 Sometimes 7 2:30 TJ Evans & Country Folks 3:00 Just Jammin 3:30 Out of the Blue 4:00 Cedar Ridge 4:30 SPACEMAN & HEATHER 5:00 Deadwood Bluegrass Band 5:30 Ellen Beam & Bluegrass Twist Ellen Beam on stage! The Ionia Bluegrass Country Show is held at an historical Roxy style theatre right on downtown Main Street. These monthly shows are fundraisers for the up-keep of the theatre,(it's community owned). Local bands volunteer to be on our stage. Our shows are on the first Sunday of the month Oct- May. We have a large Lobby, Foyer, Dressing rooms, hallways for folks to do some offstage picking. Its a fun time. We usually average 10 bands on stage and seating for approx 750 in the big theatre. Concessions are available. We have no set price for admission to these shows, we have a donation box at the information table. We welcome musicians to bring flyers, CDS, or any type of promotional items to be placed on our tables. Besides our monthly shows, we have put together some special contcerts! Rhonda Vincent & the Rage, Larry Cordell, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, and few others have taken the stage in Ionia. We have held some pretty fun concerts, Showcases and Fundraisers here too! Check out the slide show below!
