Brasilio de Olivera is the ‘Godfather’ of Ibiza Nightlife. Since 1978 he has been the man behind many legendary nights in Ibiza. His decision to move his team to SPACE in 2006, caused a considerable stir on the Island. Brasilio conceives and produces parties that with the encouragement of DJ Oliver, and the same dedicated team, promote a spirit of liberty and harmony between all people, whatever their sexual tendencies. In 1992, Baby Marcelo lent his provocative look to the parties, and continues with the team to break the mould on the islands club scene. Brasilio has created more than 1000 parties, including from the first ‘Tanga Night’; ‘La Noche Invertida’; ‘Fort Ku’; ‘White Fool Moon’; ‘Flower Power’; ‘Babylonia’; ‘The Temple of Love’; ‘Hell’; ‘Fake’; ‘Prison’; ‘Psychiatric Hospital’; ‘Calcuta’; ‘Brasil’; ’La Vaca Asesina’; ‘The Home Of La Troya’. He has also brought over 200 big musical names to Ibiza, including, Talk Talk; Ian Dury; James Brown; Freddy Mercury; Suzanne Vega; Spandau Ballet; Brian Adams; Natalie Cole; Joe Cocker; Gloria Gaynor; Fine Young Cannibals; Matt Bianco; Marillion, Chris Rea; Duran Duran; Divine; Silvester; 808 State; The Farm; Adamsky; Front 242; Happy Mondays; Kylie Minogue; M People, all of whom not only enjoyed Brasilio’s hospitality, but more impressively they came to Ibiza not just to party, but to actually perform.
