Myspace Editor Pimp MySpace Hello *waves* I'm Lynsey. I'm not really sure why I created this page- one of these spur of the moment things, or perhaps I'm just a shameless attention seeker! I'm that annoying DJ in the pub who tells you that I won't play your song because it's shit. I don't mince my words. Likes: Radio, Stand-up comedy, People falling off horses, people who mouth off to other people, sticking cotton buds in my ears, Pimp My Ride (not the UK version though), The Crystal Maze, my blister inducing flipflops, prank phonecalls to phoneboxes, MSN, microphones, jeans, clothes with stripes or spots on, the loch ness monster, waking up with a hot guy and enjoying morning after cuddles, hyperbole, the memory of being 8 and playing my parents up with that mixture of excitement and growing horror as you wait for the inevitable slapping, onomatopoeia, playing with jingles, laughing at people who vomit for half an hour outside your flat at 3am, underwear, especially push-up bras, trying to get my car into spaces half its length, anything sparkly, festivals, cider, discombobulating, wine, Volkswagens, horses, and popping bubble wrap. Dislikes: Neds, Returning phonecalls to my parents, crashing my car, having crap hair, blisters, parallel parking under pressure, not being able to play guitar, smelly people on buses, public transport in general - loony alert!, children, Motherwell (it's a cunt of a town), people who use apostrophes in the wrong contexts, midgets, Spam (the "meat", not solicitous emails), Keane, Martin Clunes, going to the zoo on a school holiday, traffic lights that work against me in mysterious ways, CDs that skip, ISDN lines that cut out midway through your presenter's link, the phonecalls that ensue to the presenter and station engineer!, putting up tents, sale shoes that don't come in your size, badly fitting bras, blowing up lilos and beach balls, and plastic bags that dye your hands blue when you carry anything any distance in them. |

| Radio, horses, jingles, music! I also like cooking, when the mood takes me - which it doesn't do very often. But I get my kicks out of pretending I'm Nigella whatsit. I also love August, it's my favourite month of the year cos I generally get to sleep very little, and go and see loads and loads of comedy. I usually spend more than I earn in August, to be honest, but that's just because Alan from Festival FM always makes me buy him drinks. ;o) Just one more cider, eh, Al?God, this is making me sound dead boring. I'm usually to be found bouncing along at some gig or other, and I also like spending time drinking with my friends whilst playing guitar in open spaces.Finally, I can often be found sitting parked in buslanes stealing people's wireless broadband... as I will get my own... one day, I've just not got my finger out my arse yet. | |

Television:I just bought a telly!!!! So I find myself watching Channel 5's In The Grid repeatedly. What else do I like...? Ooh, my old flatmate Emma had me watching Eggheads, have you ever seen it? Basically, this team of total brainiacs compete against random teams- they're always conceited tossers though and win. All the time. I hate the eggheads. Especially Daphne, she is EVIL. I like stuff like the Crystal Maze, old episodes of that were on the other night, I've decided I quite fancy Richard O'Brien, but only when he plays the harmonica. |

Books:I learned the whole of the Catcher in The Rye for Higher English. I got an A. Hear ye, hear ye. I also learned a number of Norman MacCaig poems such as my favourite, Assisi. *steps off soapbox* I also like trashy novels, Sheila O'Flannigan, Marian Keyes, anything where the man is usually a bastard and treats his woman badly but it all works out in the end! My mother is well versed in keeping me in stock of these, yay! |
