| Lorenzo was born at his parents home, december 8th. He showed very early his disposition to sing. Indeed, he amazed neighbours singing hit songs, when he was 3 years old. His favourites were: Candida of Tony Orlando's Dawn, Roly Poly of Stamford Bridge and, first of all, San Bernadino of Christie. His parents, still living in Italy, tell that it was really amazing to hear that "hit-child" singing in the pushing chair. Lorenzo attended normal school formation, and was never a too much good pupil. He was often catched with a book under the bench or a new disc of his favourites Christie and Elvis Presley. As all his aged fellows he was a dreamer, and dreamed to be famous. When he was 8 years old, he starts to play organ and drums. At the age of ten, he started his career as a drummer of a cover band and made his first public appearence. But his dream was to be a singer and to have his own music on stage. He started then to play guitar and to train his voice on the melodies of Elvis Presley and Barry Ryan. Along with his brothers, he tried to form a band that quickly disbanded for "opinions collision". In the meantime he started to write also short stories, romances. He had some poems published on magazines and in the collection book "Agenda of italian poetry". After the obligatory army service in the Alpiers he decided to start searching success and realizing his dreams. This for him was a gipsy-period that he needed to grow himself as a man, as an artist. He left home with a one train ticket and few money and, of course, his guitar. He was in Belgium, where a talent scout made him touring alone under the art-name ESSA and acquired a good musician reputation appearing even on radio shows. He sung songs of great french singers, as Mike Brant, and put somewhere some of his own compositions that always get success. In His Gipsy period, Lorenzo was in Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, Holland, Spain. In 1992, formed a band MANTRAS that follow the Queen's wave, after Mercury's dead and played around half Italy for almost a decade, going even abroad and representing Italy to a National Show in France, Lyon. Partecipate to a concert of Donovan. In 1999 got married and his touring get quietly but not so his music involvement and his writing. In 2002 his first baby was born and it was called Nicola. Then he arrived to realize his greatest dreams. He met Garrelt Danker, the producer and manager of Vic Elmes, asking for an autograph. Garrelt Danker found out that Lorenzo have been a musician and composer, too. He arranged the contact between Vic Elmes and Lorenzo. After listen to his music, Vic decided to enclose Lorenzo's stuff on his forthcoming album (Christie Again - Greatest hits and more / 2004). Lorenzo get involved in humanitarian associations as Calcutta Mission, born from the will of Mother Theresa and today still is member of it and of the International Association Reine Helene that is present in 56 Nations with its support, even in Asia for Tsunami victims, Iraq, Kosovo and Afghanistan collaborating with USA troops and Red Cross. He is Member of the american Little Big Horn Associates - with the task to preserve and find the truth about the Battle of Little Big Horn and General Custer times - and of the JFK Library and Museum and RFK Memorial. He also writes articles on several newspapers and he is writing a book on the life of John Fitzgerald Kennedy. His latter album (first solo) was released February 2007.
