| Alan K. Fink is the mastermind behind He Dreams Awake. Solely he is in charge of writing, producing, & engineering all of the unique sounds heard in his music. Combining his voice, guitars (acoustic & electric), keyboards, piano, synthesizers, bass, drums and anything else he can create a sound from, this up & coming solo artist is on his way to dropping his highly anticipated debut album that is sure to open minds & souls, making a huge impact on the independent & underground world of music. Alan has played with many successful bands, winning numerous awards, from age 14 on but his solo work is his best & most adventurous to date. He's been compared to Thom Yorke, Daniel Johns, Conor Oberst & Robert Smith to name a few but his art is definitely all his own. Richard Patrick, of Filter, says "the world needs you." and Alan is definitely being welcomed with open arms from his fans, independent radio stations & magazines. He Dreams Awake can be heard on Phibble, The Other Side, Insomnia Radio, Project Independent & Other Indie Stations all around the world. His haunting, delicate & beautiful lyrics mixed with unique guitar & other ethereal sounds send you whirling through his complicated mind while pulling at the strings of not only his heart but yours alike. He Dreams Awake is provocative & thought provoking music that has barely been tapped into. The songs being played now are only a glimpse of what's to come. Narrowing down the final songs for the album is turning out to be quite a circus considering this complex individual has an arsenal of 42 songs and counting. The next two months will be devoted to processing the blueprints of what promises to be a breath taking achievement in modern art. His fans have already coined him "a fcking genius" & The St. Augustine Record hailed him our "American Bjork." The debut album will be the first concrete evidence of what promises to be a truly original sculpture shaped in sound by the beautiful & unique mind of Alan K.
