The Carolina Blue is a movement taking place in the great state of North Carolina by Fire House Productions to bring and expose some of the greatest talent on the planet. Growing up in North Carolina I was influenced and exposed to all types of music. Though I am a prodigy of the hip hop culture I am still amazed at the transformation of hip hop/rap . Love it or hate it hip hop has resurrected music of every genre as well as cultures. Through sampling and remixes it has generated revenue for artist who never got their just due after years in the game. Hated and ridiculed in its infancy it penetrated Wall Street to Sesame Street. It has by any means necessary become a billions of dollars fortune 500 empire that shows no sign of slowing down. It has come from the Backwoods to Hollywood.Yet it has still not received the respect for what it really is…..an art form. I still have a hard time with people who want to claim that the 80’s form of hip hop was better than the 90’s and gangster rap is better than old school rap. It is what it is and will always be what it is……an art form. Music is a form of entertainment for those to enjoy and not to destroy and certainly we must cease on this hate and killing . As a music producer my love of music ranges from the Roots to Radicals like Public Enemy, Pete Rock to Herbie Hancok , Benny Goodman to the Goodie Mob from the keepers of the Funk to Funkadelics and the list goes on. I also have been blessed over the past few years of meeting some of the pioneers of hip hop by attending conventions and forums and was blessed with a lot business knowledge in which I tend to past on to others. That is what we consider the Carolina Blue. Just keeping it positive by producing and promoting True Blue music and entertainment for your listening enjoyment. Fire House Music and Fire House Productions has started to blaze trails already and has established national and international props. And Big Ups to all those like Allhiphop.com, the Source, istandardproducers.com, promoters , writer’s, DJ’s , MC’s and everyone on the grind keeping the positive and the cash flow going.
