I'm a professional music producer with some level of notoriaty (by "professional" I mean, my sole source of income stems from producing music). I was nominated for a Grammy last year for some work with Common's song, "The Corner" and am proud of the Gold Record for the same song. When it's all said and done, I'm living out my life's dream and am living proof that if you work hard enough, take enough criticism, and refuse to give up, then anyone can make their dreams come true. And I really mean MAKE their dreams come true. It definately doesn't get handed to you and it is always on the verge of being revoked. Therefore, in order to keep your dream, you must respect it and respect the people who helped you along the way. It's amazing what a simple "thank you" will do. 2005 saw me working with HIM, Bizzy Bone, Paula Cole, and a slew of indies. 2006 saw me topping the national college Hip-Hop charts with the charismatic MC, Big Meg , producing "Sweet Radio" and "Africa Welcomes You" for the South African super group, Mikanic , as well as recording the internationally acclaimed blackgrass album, "Head Home", for the insanely talented misfits known as O'Death (voted #1 best act to see by Time Out New York), and single handedly developing the rock band, Decembers Fall , into a Myspace phenomenon, proving talent through diversity.
