CUTTING EDGE SEE FULL REVIEWS IN OUR BLOG ENTRY très.b first started with Misia, Olivier and Tom in November 2004 at Testrup Hojskole in Denmark with a cover of PJ Harvey's "Who the fuck". Some years before Olivier, Tom and Alex had a band together in Luxembourg. After school, Alex went to the Netherlands. A year later Tom and Olivier went to a Music school in Denmark. In Testrup Hojskole near Aarhus, Misia, Olivier and Tom formed a band called The B’s (standing for B music, as in B movies, referring to B class music) and decided to stick together. In January 2005 they were asked to perform at The European Border Breakers Award ceremony at Midem in Cannes, France. In February 2005 they moved to Copenhagen and lived together in Denmark for another 6 moths writing and playing a lot. After that they decided to move again, this time to Maastricht, Holland and, funnily enough, all three of them ended up living with Alex for a while. They changed the name to très.b (French for “very” B) and played as a three piece band on local festivals and contests (e.g. Char’co Festival, Amnesty International Festival, winning band of the Student Song Contest, jury and audience prize). Alex however, wanting to discover everything that is yet to be discovered went for a long trip. One of his discoveries happened to be the idea to stick to making music. He joined très.b and now, as a four-piece band, they are working on a new material and playing concerts, for the moment especially in the Netherlands and Luxembourg. In February 2007 the band recorded their new material, the first material as a four-piece band. It has been self released a six months later as "Scylla and Charybdis".
