| Fresh Press Media is a boutique radio promotions and publicity firm that specializes in working closely with record labels to help them gain the maximum amount of exposure and media attention possible. The relationship that Fresh Press establishes with clients offers the next best thing to full-time, in-house employees. Always at the forefront of the field, Fresh Press goes the extra mile to help develop new and creative ideas to create effective buzz around the projects of their clients.
Andrew Pitre and James O’Connor, the co-founders of Fresh Press Media, have developed a valuable working knowledge of both sides of the radio and press game. Getting his start as a college radio DJ and developing solid relationships among other charting DJs, Pitre stepped into the role of promoter which has given him a strong upper hand. O’Connor began making contacts in the press world doing freelance writing for publications like Waxpoetics, Ground Lift, Jambase and more, so crossing over to the side of publicist was an easy transition. Both beginning as the in-house press and radio team at ATF Records, one of the Southeast’s most burgeoning hip hop labels, it gave Pitre and O’Connor an insider’s perspective to the direct needs of independently run record labels.
