| Dj Nico Ortiz was born in Lyon – France, yet has been resident in “Macumba”
(one of the Top European Night Clubs) in St Julien en Genevois, near Geneva, since 1997.
After 2 years performing acoustic sets – spiced up house by Julian Sax his saxophonist and Youssef Debbab his percussionist, he joined forces with Dj Mr Nagoo to form the infamous duo in the great Electro hall of Macumba.
In 2002 he took control of the Deluxe House Lounge, spinning sounds long into the early hours.Since 2003 Nico Ortiz teaches and coaches “the mix” at the unique DJ school
“UCPA AMS” of Lyon. AMS is the only DJ school where the level of qualification is recognised all over Europe.Nico Ortiz integrated into the Pro Team France Ecler in 2004 along side:
Antoine Clamaran, Stazia, Maia k, Dj Fly and represented the Spanish brand throughout Europe.Nico's musical style is focused on House, Electro, and Tech House.

En 2002 il prend le contrôle du Lounge, la salle House Deluxe de ce grand complexe de nuit, après 2 années de sets acousticos – house pimentés par Julian Sax son saxophoniste et Youssef Debbab son percussionniste, il accepte de rejoindre Dj Mr Nagoo pour former le duo de choc du GK aka la grande salle Elektro du Macumba. Nico Ortiz est depuis 2003 formateur / professeur de mix Elektro et de MAO au sein de la seule école de deejays reconnue au niveau européen, l’UCPA AMS de Lyon - France. Il intègre le Pro Team France Ecler en 2004 et représente la marque espagnole à travers l’Europe.
