| I started playing guitar at the age of 14, which was the beginning of discovering music through my heart, mind, body and soul. My first band was Suckerfish. Next was Superfly which was founded by myself and Jorge Vega. Within a few months we found Ricky Harte for bass, and Keith Kauffman and Chris Beck for vocals. We broke up in 1994 due to my heavy drug use, we reunited in 1996 with Chad Isom on drums Darby Lash on percussion and Chris Beck on vocals and pattonesque screams. This lasted for about a year, Chris Beck had to be fired for lets say lude and embaressing acts.
We went through a slew of singers ending with Jamin Powell the singer you hear on Superfly's cover of Voodoo Child, which by the way was at 9AM and I hadn't been to sleep cause I ate 4 hits of Jerry Garcia Print the night before. The Millenium fest mixed a rave and a live rock show for the weekend, which was one of our last shows.
I took a few years off for numerous addictions. When I eventually got off of the shit, I played in all of these bands over the next few years=Hydrorythym, Karma-Kazi, Pipeline, Relic, Rubberband, Prime Cell, Heath Funk Experiment, CC Adams and a few other unnamed projects.
Which brings us to November 2006 the day after halloween when my brother and I went to see The Mars Volta and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Graeme gave me his copy of The Divine Blueprint by Robert Perala which opened my third eye to the very truth of the human existence and where we need to go by the year 2012. The idea of Audio Ascension came to me as I was reading the Divine Blueprint, in the form of a message sent telepathically from the cosmos or more precisely the Pleiades. The vision consisted of spreading the message of Ascension through enlightening music for the masses. That is what we are trying to accomplish with this band.
