| Atlas Weights are a rock’n’roll four piece from Sydney, Australia.
About the band. Formed in 2007, they made their live debut in May and since then have made appearances at numerous Sydney venues such as The Hopetoun, The Lansdowne, The Gaelic Club and The Manning Bar to name a few. In 2008, Atlas Weights look to play bigger and better gigs in Sydney and surrounds to round out their first year of gigging together. And then begin the next one. About the music. Atlas Weights combine melodic sensibility with musical depth and experimentation, combining genres such as jazz, blues, progressive rock, post-rock, folk, country and pop into a distinct, versatile sound that they can call their own. Please note also the presence of bitchin’ solos. About the CD. As of December ’07, an Atlas Weights CD has been available. It contains seven songs and runs around forty minutes in length.
