| Ken Walker has been an integral contributor to the Australian Urban scene for over 15 years. Throughout this time he has been a pioneer on radio presenting & producing shows on Street FM, RRR, PBS FM, Kiss FM & "Jamz" for the Austereo Network (Fox FM/2DayFM/B105FM & SAFM). Ken has DJ’d in our leading festivals (Big Day Out, Rumba & Summer Dayz) and regularly tours the country bringing his mixups to the masses. In 2001 Ken joined the Vicious Vinyl team (headed by Andy Van & John Course) and they established Australia’s first true R&B based label “Vicious Urban” In March 2002 Ken along with fellow R&B DJ Craig G were recipients of the prestigious Ravage Australia Testimonial awards for excellence & achievement in the Australian Dance Music Industry. Previous awardees include John Course, Andy Van, Kasey Taylor & Sean Quinn. May 2005 Ken signed an exclusive 2 year deal with Virgin Music to head it’s new flagship label, Virgin Urban Australia and the first project “Jamz Volume 3” was released in April 2006 | |
