Melanie was born in Italy in 1980 from an Italian father and a dutch mother. She immediately approaches the wonderful world of music thanks to her family, listening to all kinds of music. Her career starts at the age of 16, as solist singer of a funky-acid jazz cover band in Piedmont. One year later she also performs as back vocal in another cover band of Turin. In 1998, besides singing in live bands, Melanie starts to perform as a freestyle vocalist in Turin and in other parts of Piedmont. During the following years she gets the opportunity to work in the most famous clubs of Turin such as Big Club, Hennessy, Rock City, Pick Up, Jammin', Privilege and La Gare. In 2002 Melanie enlarges her horizons thanks to the famous Sunday evenings at Café Solaire (Milan) and starts to work with deep house dj's. This music gives her the right input to free her soul with great free-style vocals. After this experience she soon spreads her skills, becoming well-known in most of the best Italian clubs, thanks to the ability of improvising on stage with her powerful voice and also works at some house and pop productions like “Turn the beat around” (Relight Orchestra). Among the clubs where she has performed: Café Solaire Milan),Tocqueville (Milan), Pineta (Milano Marittima), Sottovento (Porto Cervo), Bambù (Mantua), Sesto Senso (Desenzano d.Garda), Dehor (Desenzano d.Garda), Hennessy (Turin), La Mela (Napoli) and many more. You can find her new track "Faith" produced by Prideboyz on Beatport. She is now busy with some new productions together with Maurizio Gubellini, Pain&Rossini and many more dj's and producers. Besides singing her songs, she writes the texts and the melodies. ITALIANO Melanie è nata in Italia nel 1980 da padre italiano e madre olandese. Sin da subito si è avvicinata al fantastico mondo della musica grazie alla sua famiglia, ascoltando qualsiasi genere musicale. La sua carriera inizia all’età di 16 anni come cantante solista in una cover band funky-acid jazz in Piemonte. Un anno dopo si esibirà anche in un’altra cover di band Torino. Nel 1998, oltre a cantare con dei gruppi live, Melanie inizia ad esibirsi come vocalist a Torino ed in altre zone del Piemonte. Durante gli anni a seguire ha l’opportunità di lavorare nei clubs più rinomati di Torino, come il Big Club, l’Hennessy, il Rock City, il Pick Up, il Jammin’, il Privilege e La Gare. Nel 2002 Melanie allarga i suoi orizzonti grazie alla famosa domenica sera del Cafè Solaire di Milano ed inizia a lavorare con dj’s deep house del calibro di Harley&Muscle, Bruno Bolla e Marco Fullone. Questa musica le da la giusta carica ed ispirazione per esprimersi con eccezionali vocalizzi freestyle. Dopo questa esperienza riuscirà presto a sviluppare maggiormente le sue doti come vocalist, diventando conosciuta in gran parte dei clubs più importanti d’Italia, grazie alla sua capacità di improvvisare con la sua bella voce. Contestualmente collabora ad alcune produzioni house e pop come “Turn the beat around” (Relight Orchestra). Queste sono alcune tra le discoteche dove ha lavorato: Cafè Solaire (Milano), Tocqueville (Milano), Pineta (Milano Marittima), Sottovento (Porto Cervo), Bambù (Mantova), Sesto Senso (Desenzano del Garda), Dehor (Desenzano del Garda), Hennessy (Torino), La Mela (Napoli) e tanti altri.
