| WICKED DESCENDANTS, was formed in the year of 2002, with Chris(POKEY) on lead guitar, and Sam on drums. An ad was placed in THE NORTH ALABAMA SWAPPER for a bass player and vocalist. Eric replied to the ad, and not only was he a great bass player, but a great GROWLING VOCALIST. Eric was hired on the spot. At first, the band was named WRETCHED DEATH, but after learning of another band with the same name, the band was re-named WICKED DESCENDANTS, after a band that Pokey was a member of in Dallas, Tx. Sam left WICKED DESCENDANTS in late 2002 and a new drummer was added (BUT HE LIKED HUFFING PAINT, AND JAIL) more than he liked music. Sam came back to WICKED DESCENDANTS and the original members pressed on. WICKED DESCENDANTS played their first show in JUNE 2003, at a Huntsville club called THE HOT SPOT, The show was a FLOP(NOT A BIG CROWD) There was supposed to be 4 bands at the show but 2 canceled, BUT WICKED DESCENDANTS played the BEST METAL THEY KNEW!!!! The next show came in November of 2003, (THE HOT SPOT, THE FREEZE FEST IT WAS CALLED) WHICH HAD A BIG TURN OUT AND MOST OF THE FANS WERE WICKED DESCENDANTS FANS. Since then WICKED DESCENDANTS has had the honor of sharing the stage with bands such as ABOMINANT, DIVINE BLACKEN PATH, PARABELLUM, 20 SAW YOU DIE, CONVERGENGENCE FROM WITHIN, DEATH CAMP EXPERIMENT, STATE OF DECAY, TEMPLE OF BLOOD & HELLRIDE ! |
