| Frank, nick-named by friends and fans "Magic", is a performer and singer who plays harmonica and guitar. Berlin (Germany)
As a son of a record collector he was raised with american roots music, like country, rockabilly, rock'n'roll and blues. That helps him out today to feel comfortable as a performer and musician to lots of different roots music styles.
During 20 years he developed his unique blues harmonica style. In 1999 he recruited his first band "Magic and his Retro-Rockets". The band that he started with guitar maestro and best friend Markus became known for a authentic 1950's Rock'n'Roll Show. The set was very well spiced with some hot boppin' rockabilly, swingin' Jump Blues and even some Hillbilly and Country. Magic is the frontman, singer and harmonica/guitar soloist. The 4-piece band played 6 years with the same lineup and recorded 2 CDs. Unfortunately Markus moved to another town and the band is still looking for a new guitar maestro, who is able to cover so many different styles. - http://www.retrorockets.de Throughout this time he started joining live- and studio projects as a blues harmonica player with many bands/friends. In 2005 he joined The Blue Vinyl Freaks, another 5-piece Roots Music Band from Berlin (Germany). The band toured the US in 2006 - http://www.bluevinylfreaks.com In 2008 Magic goes Country!
