| The young, sympathetic and resident of Hamburg Andrea Selby has the talent for real ear candy and a voice so distinctive that what she does cannot just be considered as good Pop music.
The quality of her lyrics, the emotional expression of the songs she sings and the one-of-a-kind voice are unmistakable trademarks. Her lightly smokey voice generates gently but certainly the haunting melodies that draws everyone's attention. It's her command of the loud and impulsive tones but also the quiet intermediate tones, that gently and unexpectedly come and which hit the listeners when they least expect it. Andrea Selby’s Live-Set clarifies impressively how brilliant music can sound when the songs are as good as the Singer. Her bewitching performances as the opening act for Kristofer Aström & Sarah Bettens had lasting effects on both sets of audiences thanks to her magnificent voice, enchanting charm and unbeatable Pop music. -------------------------------------------- Andrea has lived since 2002 as a singer/songwriter in Hamburg, Germany. Since childhood she loves music & discovered her talent for singing in her early days. She spent her high school years in various musical projects and experimented with contrasting styles. By her early twenties she began to develop a style of her own. Her growing passion for song writing inspired her to write songs which she performed with the band ‘Edda’s Creek’ all over Germany. In 2002 each member of the band went separate ways and Andrea moved to the beautiful city of Hamburg. 2005 she got the chance to get her songs recorded by a production company in Hamburg. The outcome was an EP with 8 songs which has been brought to an end in September 2007. Though professionally made, the EP was very standardised and did not completely reflect her style. 2008 she distanced herself from the previous collaboration and is now finding herself back again in only making music that reflects and embodies her heartfelt creativity.
