Myspace Editor Pimp MySpace La 2IS, banda bogotana de Rock. graba en 1999 su primer trabajo titulado La Banda Sonora. Sin intenciones comerciales el trio guitarra, armónica y voz, continúa tocando su rock acústico en algunos bares y teatros del centro de la ciudad. En el bar de Homero, donde el poeta Raul Gomez Jattin leyese sus poemas descalzo, deciden hacer cada semana toques acústicos alternando con músicos como Gustavo Serrano (Candelaria Blues), el bluesman irlandes Fin Costello, Giovanny Reyes (Blue Derek) y otros no menos importantes músicos y poetas de la Bogotá bohemia. En estos jams conocen un bajista que se une a sus intenciones y comienzan a ensayar su rock de modo eléctrico. (El rock no puede ser simple farándula, marketing e intertaiment. El rock veradero ha de tener filosofía y causa). Empíricos y escépticos, se podría entender su música como rock protesta, o la trova urbana de una nueva oscuridad."De antemano queremos agradecer a la era moderna, que hace posible este espacio, a todos nuestros amigos, visitantes, y a todos aquellos que se han detenido a escuchar por un momento nuestra música. ¡Gracias!
