Some Radio Stations Currently Playing Ann's Music Around The World ! "Musictogousa Songwriter's Network" "Terikia's Spirit" "NZ Country Music" "Hillcrest Music " "Country Radio NZ" What they are saying about I'm Doing Fine Ann enjoys mixing it up. She has a quality and unique way with words. She even took some of Terikia's lyric's, sang and recorded "Country In My Bones". Proving once again, she can turn words into great songs. Roland Lanzarone RCF-Rouen Radio / Le Cri du Coyote Magazine (France) Thank you for your lovely honky tonk album. I very much enjoyed listening to your crystal clear voice, in particular in "Slowpoke" which I have programmed in next week's show. I'll equally review the album in our magazine, but it may take some time before it's published as I have received quite a few albums and am limited in space for my Kanga Routes column in this bi-monthly magazine. Wishing you all the best and a great success for the album. Evelyn Such, fabulous Wellington sax player Just love listening to your CD "I'm Doing Fine". Love your sweet voice and backing. It's so refreshing. I'm proud to be the owner of the CD and wish you all the best for its future. Bob and Shirley Scott, Christchurch As far as we are concerned it is a first class recording in every way, right from the cover to "Drop of a Tear". Firstly the musicianship is top class. I am a stickler for top class backing and they compliment you perfectly. Your mix of songs is a credit to you i.e. fast, slow etc. It's 59 minutes of first class product. Regarding your cover - I always remember Wayne Horsborough saying to us once that he did a tape with Desree Crawford and it wasn't selling. They changed the cover and it took off. Your cover is you enjoying what you are doing and the CD aptly entitled "I'm Doing Fine". Presume Kylie (photographer) is daughter? With 18 tracks that is also a bonus. Derek Evans, Napier Thanks for sending over your new "pre release album" CD. I loved it. I’d describe it as “impeccable”. Beautiful backings, vocals and well mixed. Your voice sounds clear and natural and your attention to detail obvious. I also enjoyed the selection of songs. Roy (Jack) Ownbey I've been listening to your album today, and it is terrific! I've listened several times and, in my opinion, there is not a weak song on the CD. You have made a great selection of different tempos, subjects, moods etc. The variety adds a lot of interest. I remember and appreciate the classic songs that you included. You get a lot of emotion in your singing and I love them all. You should include more of your songs in the future. "Grandma's Apron is a tender and a great story. I love the story songs, and I think a lot of folks can relate to grandmothers in that kind of way. Thanks for including my songs on the album with a lot of great songwriters. I knew you would do a great job in the recording. However, I didn't know "Postcard Memories and Old Photographs" would sound so good. I got chills when you sang it. The lyrics are based on a short story that my mother wrote, so I took the ideas and made it into a song. In my mind, you made it a masterpiece! I'm pleased that you used Dennis on the two duets. The title page is catchy and excellent, too. You look like a young and happy lady. That looks like my guitar in the background. I agree with the DJ, you had an outrageous year! Even though I have told you before, your new album is unusually good with a great blend of songs - all of which I love. Thanks for mentioning me. You have always been kind to do that. VHave a another great year in 2007! Marlene and Robin Lamb (DJs NZ) WOWEE Ann, We knew you could do it from day one, but this one tops them all.Your choice of songs, well what could one say, absolutely fantastic, and the backing, brilliant. Roy Ownbey, well his songs are always number one, Ross Allen, it's a beauty, and your duets with Dennis Marsh, well your voices blend in really well together. Grandma's Apron, it hits the spot for so many, as it brings back memories, so true, of our Grand Mothers, and also our Mother's aprons, but hey, Ann!!!!!!!! blowing her nose on it, is this true???????.We don't recall ours doing that, but maybe behind our backs, they might have. Congratulations Ann, and we are certainally looking forward to hearing some of these songs at the Marton Festival. Many thanks for your new album for our Radio Shows. Rosalie Powers (DJ Perth Australia) Hi Ann - Got your new CD today, and putting into play next week, great to hear you doing so well. My favorite out of them all (all good) is Gary Fjellgaards song "Winds of October" - I had the privilege of interviewing him and a finer chap you couldn't talk to. He sent me four of his Cd's and would love to come here. You have done a terrific job with the song - congratulations. So rest assured you're going up and down WA from Perth to Albany and across to Bunbury. Love the album and keep singing - your voice is taking on a richer timber yet - congratulations. Brian Amos (DJ Victoria Australia) Thank you for the copy of your CD "I'm Doin' Fine". This CD is as usual great listening and ideal for relaxing with. Yvonne Marsh I have played and played and played a wonderful CD - I'm Doin' Fine by Ann Pascoe - have you heard it? It should be in your collection! It is just a superb album, Annie - it is surely the best album you have produced. This is awesome and I love the choice of songs! Thanks so much for sending that to us - it was real exciting receiving it in the mail yesterday. Lovely cover, lovely words - just awesome. David Rubins (Canada) Ann, you are better than ever! Your voice is fantastic and you've got great musicians. On some of the harmonies, your voice reminds me of the Andrews Sisters but your voice is stronger. All the songs are great, but some of my favorites are: Am I Blue This song has lots of spunk! Great to listen to while driving. You should be singing this song on television. Winds Of October Great song! Not just a great country song. A great song! Should be playing on radio stations all over the world and not just country radio stations. This song has universal appeal and will be enjoyed by country music fans and non-country music fans alike. I listened to this song three times in a row. Grandma's Apron A beautiful song. Tugs at the heartstrings. It got to me emotionally. I'll Be Loving You Tonight Beautiful duet - marvelous! Two great voices that compliment each other. Great song! Ann, thank you so much for sending me this FANTASTIC album. I really appreciate this. This album is a winner! I hope you sell two million cds! CONGRATULATIONS ANN!!! RCF-Rouen Radio / Le Cri du Coyote Magazine Concerning "Am I Blue" it's a terrific western swing and so beautifully sung, my listeners just love it & Billy (Walker) must enjoy it from up there. If you wish to have more air play in my radio show and a review in Le Cri du Coyote you are welcome to mail me a copy of your new album. Best wishes to you and the Kiwis Roland Lanzarone RCF-Rouen Radio / Le Cri du Coyote Magazine A John Denver Fan I love it, this is by the far the best you have done. The production is first class, just think it's really good. I am working in Auckland during the day at the moment, played John Denver on the way home and yours is as good.
