Hello and welcome to my page:

Mmmph – you want to know more about me, I bet...not easy, so I think it's the best to start with something simple, so: my name is Elke und I live with my little family in a small village in Germany. We share our lives with a tomcat, two rabbits and two ducks at the moment – but they could possibly increase, because I really love pets and I can’t live without them. My little son is the best thing that ever happened in my life and I’m very proud about this little man, even when he frays my nerves at times :=). I love being outside and so whenever it's possible, you’ll find me in my garden, working in my vegetable plot or just enjoying time with my son, my pets and my historical roses.

I love to go out for long country walks and I’m really thankful that I can absorb and enjoy the many beauties of nature all around us and I try to teach my son to be similarly appreciative. I like the stars and the moonlight and I can’t get enough of watching a sunrise, or experiencing thunderstorms or just lying on the ground, watching the clouds go bye…..Yeah, your’re right, I AM hopeless romatic – but if you think I percieve the world through pink tinted glasses, you’re completely wrong ! I know from experience that life is a bitch sometimes – but if knocked down, I’ve learned to get up again and when something is important to me, I never surrender!
I do what I can for my friends and I’m always there when they need me – as long as they don’t playing games with me - I am honest to all who are important to me and so I just want the same for myself!
When I have time I enjoy reading a book with a cup of tea or a good Single Malt Whisky :=). I prefer historical material with a romantic and mystical touch – and if the heroes live in Scotland – it’s perfect, because my heart belongs in Scotland – even although I haven’t a drop of Scottish blood in me. I am very interested in the people, their history and the beauty of this wonderful country.

For me it’s always a feeling of belonging when I’m back in bonnie Scotland...
