I was born in Italy, Sicily, little town called Messina. Was raised in Milano with nuns till I was 12, then come over to Australia with my big big family......7 sisters and 4 brothers.Even although I have been many years here in Australia, I still call Italia my true home, that.......in itself will never die. As a single mother, I have raised a beautiful daughter and I have also put myself through tertiary education to become an artist. I have had the priveledge to have an Exhibition of over 50 paintings based on my life journey titled "Beauty behind Darkness" held at the Tanks Art Centre in Cairns 2005.I received so much encouragement and positive feedback from the public and the media, this has giving me courage and inspiration to carry on my journey as an artist.This year is probably the best year of my life, after 5 years of studies, at the end of the year I will receive my Diploma of Visual Arts.
