| MY MUSIC MY ARTISTIC JOURNEYIn 1987 I started writing songs, short poems and short stories. I found that it was such a great way of expressing myself in my life. Around about the same time I discovered the cool sounds of Hip Hop music from the radio, and from there Soundwave Resistance was born. In 1991 my friends asked me to join there Hip Hop crew from our school, we had a few names back then. In 1992 I joined Two Funk Entertainment a live R&B band as the main Rap artist. We performed and played across London for four years. I enjoyed the live sound and band experience, I learned allot and had allot of fun being on the road with my friends and fellow artists. In 1996 I left the band to pursue a solo career, working with other producers, DJ'S, Rappers, on radio Stations, entering open MIC Hip Hop tournaments, and also working on producing some film soundtracks for a few film directors. In 1999 I set up Artistic Base an independent company to make my films and music, aswell as to work with other interesting artists. It's now 2008 and I still love making music for myself and working with other talented artists. I want to thank my family, my good friends and all my fans who like my music, and showed me allot of love and respect over the years. Thanks to all the promoters, music venues, Radio Stations, Rappers and DJ'S that put me on. To all the artists I've jammed with over the years, it's always real fun to make good music. I Assisted to organize a young music group Stage Fright, I also performed with them at the Black History Month Event. |
