| Swervin' Merv are the latest funk offering, fresh out of Brighton. Trippy riffs, thumpin slaplines, stompin beats and bigger hats than Speedy Gonzales, fuse together in a filth-ridden orgy of smooth-pocketed, sex-driven ecstacy. Formed in the early months of 2007, the band have recorded a 5 track EP that will be available soon as well as performing at a variety of shows. Dates are steadily coming in so check back for all the info! Click on the link below to vote for us on the NME Breaking Bands competition... I smell something funky! Not only does each gig offer a showcase of one of the funkiest bands in Brighton but the band also give away one official Swervin' Merv thong to whoever stands out the most to us... if that's not a good enough reason to come see the band then I don't know what is!
