| The Janet Breeze Band meanwhile belongs to the most regarded blues bands in northern germany. Proof enough should be the bands tour schedule, which leads them to blues venues all over germany.
In 2001 the soul- and blues vocalist Janet Breeze founded the “Janet Breeze Band”
With her colorful voice, she leaves the audience amazed and asking for more. There are moments, when you close your eyes ,you might get the feeling, that you’re right in some old jukejoint: the air get’s static and you can almost grab these blues..
The first time Janet got confronted with roots music , was when she first heard Gospel music at church; she fell in love with it immediately and knew that she wanted to sing. She took singing lessons in different styles and cathegories, like Jazz, Pop, Rock and Classic to be able to express all the diversity, that music incorperates. Her passion for Soul brings shivers to the listener’s spine and takes your breath away; when you think, you’ve seen it all, she’s the one you’ve been waiting for.
Her black voice and the perfect arranged music, played by the fabulous band, takes you away on a journey, through different decades of Blues, Soul and Funk music.
