"Hunting With Chainsaws" are a four piece band, based in Manchester. The new line up is the best yet, and the new music (3 albums worth in the last 18 months) is superb. With influences ranging from old school metal to bands like the police and the clash. A very dynamic, interesting and all together fresh approach to the british rock genre. The band was formed in late 2002 as a thrash metal outfit. Over the last 8 years it has morfed and developed through several incarnations. The last being a thrash/punk four piece. This previous incarnation played support to the likes of "Napalm Death", and developed many of the ideas that are todays mainstay of the band. The current line-up was completed in the middle of 2009. Comprising original drummer (Matt Edwards), original guitarist (Chris Lawlor) , bassist (Johnny P) formally of "Black Jackson", and then the addition of vocalist (Jordan) formally of "Outline", After recording a demo album at the end of 2008, and another in the middle of 2009 the band are soon to record yet another in the coming months.
