About Me |

CRYPTERIA is a metal band from Jacksonville, Florida that formed in the summer of 2004. The band's name refers to the Spartan "hidden" special forces and is not meant to be associated with graves, decay, etc. We honor the Florida death metal tradition and emphasize groove and songwriting over mere technicality We are currently recording two new songs with Stan Martell . The first mix of "Meccanized Insurgency" has already been posted, and "Facing West" will be released once we record the vocals. Our EP will be released this fall- we are looking for cover art and a new logo- if interested please contact us. We appreciate the support and hope to start playing more shows soon. The songs we write now are more technical/progressive than our early material. MERCH of all kinds is now available for sale. Thanks for the support.
