| Coma Noir ist das Dark Electronic-Soloprojekt des Koblenzer Keyboarders Jens (29), der unter anderem schon mit seiner Band The Count auf vielen Bühnen und in vielen Clubs der Republik zu hören war. Offiziell gegründet hat er Coma Noir im Februar 2007, wobei viele der Songs schon vorher während seiner Zeit bei The Count als experimenteller Ausgleich entstanden sind. Im Sommer erschien dann die erste Demo-CD Wasted Life mit den Liedern "Wasted Life", "Njewsch" und "Castles in the Sky". Insbesondere mit "Njewsch" hat Coma Noir einen Tanzflächenfüller erster Güte am Start, der schon in ein paar Clubs für Aufsehen sorgte.
Coma Noir lässt sich schlecht mit anderen Bands vergleichen – insbesondere deshalb, weil Jens doch sehr oft über den Tellerrand des normalen Electro blickt, beim Experimentieren keine Grenzen kennt und sich überall dort wohl fühlt, wo es ihm gerade Spaß macht – sei es bei Synthiepop, Trance, Jungle oder dem Sandmännchen... dem Sandmännchen? Hört einfach mal rein, dann versteht ihr Jens' Welt besser... |
