Alvaro "Chevere" Tarquino (Bateria/Percussión) nace en Bogotá D.C./ Colombia donde comienza su carrera musical., toca con diferentes grupos de la ciudad, Gran sociedad del Estado, Terron de Sueños, Limon y Medio, El Grifo, Amapola, funda el grupo MALANGA al lado de
Chucho Merchan , Alexei Restrepo, Augusto Martelo and Carlos Alvarez. grupo presente y vital en la historia del Rock Colombiano. Toca en gira por Colombia con Ana y Jaime y viaja a USA donde tiene sesiones con diferentes músicos en Miami y New York y puede canalizar mejor sus conocimientos musicales.

Viaja a España donde es llamado para tocar con el grupo colombiano Columna de Fuego que se encuentra en ese momento de gira por Europa. En la ciudad de Madrid se comienza a escuchar de su versatilidad y sensibilidad musical, y por esta época se le empieza a llamar por su nombre artístico: "CHÉVERE".

Funda CHEVERE & CO. Jesus Pardo, Fernando Bravo, Tony Lopez, Rafa Perez, Luis "Manglis" Cobos, Featuring: ChuchoMerchan.

Comienza a tocar la Percussion con el grupo DOLORES Pedro Ruy Blas, Jorge Pardo, Jean Luc Vallet, Alvaro Yebenes, Cesar Berti, and Jesus Pardo. Esta formación graba el LP. "La Puerta Abierta". Con Dolores toca en el mismo programa al lado de Charlie Mingus, en el Festival Internacional de Jazz en San Sebastián. Tambien en programa durante los conciertos de Weather Report en España.

Con Javier Vargas , Paco Ruiz y Fernando Vasquez. funda el grupo PASARELA toca con SALVADOR & BAND. Toca entre otros con: Elkin & Nelson, Max Suñer, Carles Benavent, Salvador Niebla Band, Ray Gomez , Miguel Rios, Rosario Flores, Luz Casal, Red de San Luis, Lorenzo Santamaria, Mediterraneo, Caco Senante, Jose Mari Guzman, La Venta.

Funda ENTREGA INMEDIATA: Elkin Marin, Luis Mayol, Javier Vargas, Nino de la Morena, Rafael Reina. Trabaja como musico de estudio y productor.

Viaja a Alemania en Elbenberg/Hessen, fija su actual lugar de recidencia, trabaja con diferentes musicos entre otros: Savanna Talk - Velvet - Los Reyes - Stolle & Band - Spuky Mulemwa - The Tuesday Night Session - Saverio Azul - El Housseine Kili - Jascalevich Ensamble, Maxximal.

Funda Sangoma, funda CLUB OF ROAM lado de Norbert Müller y Ralf Burczyk; el grupo cuenta con cinco CD..s en su discografía. Como dato especial: el dinero de su último CD "YE" fue entregado a la fundación FONEVA . de Chucho Merchan que ayuda y protege los "Niños Desamparados de Colombia".

Es llamado para tocar con GEROLD ADLER FUSION. Funda el grupo MEZCLA PURA al lado de Diego Jascalevich, Matthias Millhoff y Thorsten Lastinger, tocando como invitados especiales Rhani Krija y Mingo Lewis.

Graba con "Jascalevich-Ensamble" al lado de el productor Paul Reynolds, el director musical Hein Dekker y el tecnico de grabación Ronald Prent, Musica para el nuevo sistema SACD - en GALAXY-Studios Moll - Belgica.

Graba bateria y percussión en el ultimo trabajo del compositor Jürgen Schneider. Recibe la invitacion de el guitarrista Madrileño Alfonso Murillo, para tocar con la Banda de Rock Latino "Milestone" residentes en Denver-Colorado USA. En enero 2001 comienza a tocar con MORPHEUS - Banda de Jazz-Rock Progresivo fundado en 1975; Graba el CD. "For a Second" que salio a la venta en Mayo 2002.
A comienzo de el 2002 funda CONO SUR con el guitarrista Bonaerense Marcos Goncalves.

Funda con Gustavo Miño el grupo FRUTOS TROPICALES . En la actualidad el grupo sigue cosechando exitos en sus actuaciones y prepara temas para lo que sera su primer CD.

Principios de Octubre 2004 comienza a tocar con la Banda Big Easy . A partir de Febrero 2006 cominza a tocar con Mikado grupo que toca Nomadensoul y Vagabundenjazz. Toca con Mono Club. 2006 es llamado para tocar la bateria en el Livetour del Grupo PACHANGA (Charts Hit -Loco) En Octubre 2006 toca como invitado especial con VARGAS BLUES BAND En Noviembre 2006 viaja a Singapore con Karibik Steelpan Group. A partir de Mayo 2007 toca en el tour de VARGAS BLUES BAND toca el Germany Tour 2008 y graba en el nuevo CD de la banda.
Activa la Banda YURUPARI al lado de John DL. (Piano) Thony Rodriguez (Timbal - Perc).
Alvaro "Chevere" Tarquino Un excelente músico al que ningún estilo de música le es desconocido; El amor por su adorada Colombia hace que en todo lugar se sienta como en su casa. De la música no hace falta hablar.......Hay que Sentirla y Vivirla, lo demas es verso.

Alvaro (Drums & Percussión) was born in Bogotá - D.C./ Colombia
where he began his musical journey ,
he drummed for different bands
(Gran Sociedad del Estado, Terron de Sueños, Limon y Medio, El Grifo, Amapola)
until he created the group MALANGA
with Chucho Merchan , Alexei Restrepo, Augusto Martelo and Carlos Alvarez.
They become legendary in the history of the Rock in Colombia
through their be concerts and country wide Tours.
After a last concert with this Band in the Coliseo Cubierto el Campin of Bogotá
he went to the USA to gain experience in music.

There he met many great musicians and was able to increase his knowledge and expertise.
After this he traveled to Spain where he became a member of the group
"Columna de Fuego".
It was in Madrid that he became known as "Chevere".
Alvaro was a very much sought after musician and joined the band
DOLORES
founded by Pedro Ruy Blas, Jorge Pardo, Jean Luc Vallet,
Alvaro Yebenes, Cesar Berti, and Jesus Pardo.
Recording the album "La Puerta Abierta".
Alvaro began playing Percussion and had the chane to play with the legendary bassist
Charles Mingus, at the International Jazz Festival San Sebastian and concerts together with Weather Report.
Until he created the group "Pasarela" with
Javier Vargas , Paco Ruiz and Fernando Vasquez.

In Spain he knows and collaborates with musicians like:
Salvador, Max Suñer, Miguel Rios, Ray Gomez, Luz Casal, Carles Benavent, Salvador Niebla, "Manglis", Rosario Flores, Jose Mari Guzman, La Venta, Red de San Luis, Lorenzo Santamaria, Mediterraneo and Caco Senante.

Then he moved to Elbenberg/Germany, near the city of Kassel, where he works with local musicians like:
Savanna Talk, Velvet, Stolle & Band, Los Reyes, Spuky Mulemwa, The Tuesday Night Session,
Saverio Azul, Maxximal.
He founded Bands Like:
Cono Sur, Verde Oliva, Almoraima and Yurupari.
He created the group "Club of Roam" with Norbert Müller and Ralf Burczyk,
with this Band recording 5 CD's , and the money from the last CD "Ye"
they spend for the foundation FONEVA .from Chucho Merchan

With Diego Jascalevich, Matthias Millhoff and Thorsten Lastinger he founded 1999 the Band
Mezcla Pura .
With this Band was playing Special guest Rhani Krija and Mingo Lewis on Percussion.
In Dec. 2000 and 2001 Alvaro Chevere T. recorded with the Jascalevich-Ensamble in the
GALAXY-Studios (Moll Belgium) on the new recording system SACD together
with Paul Reynolds, Hein Dekker und Ronald Prent,
Since 2001 he plays the drums by MORPHEUS , a progressive Jazz-Rock Band founded on 1975.
On May 2002 they realised the CD "For a Second" for the CD presentation Morpheus
performing in the legendary Burg Herzberg Festival with Mountain, Amon Düül II, Birth Control and Jeronimo.

He played some concerts with the Marroquian El Houssaine Kili,
and Recorded Drums and Percussion in PW-Musik Kassel for the Compositor Jürgen Schneider.
Also he was invided to play with the band Milestone in Denver-Colorado/USA.

In 2002 he founded FRUTOS TROPICALES - Latin Band witch presented
the first Europatour Sabor a Guayaba in 2002 in Germany, Austria and Swizerland.
This formation is been touring the stages of the world,
where they have been given grand ovations from the public and the critics.

Since Okt.2004 he play the Drums for Big Easy .
Since Feb.2006 he play the Percussion for Mikado
On July 2006 he prepaired for the tour from Pachanga
In October 2006 he playes some concerts in Germany with
his old friend Javier Vargas and the VARGAS BLUES BAND

On Nov. 2006 he travel with a Karibik Steel Pan Group to Singapore

May 2007 he plays Percussion on Germany Tour with VARGAS BLUES BAND

Since end of juni 2007, he plays Percussion with MONO CLUB

October 01 bis 06 he recording in Madrid with VARGAS BLUES BAND
