| Having left rural italy and the prospect of a life digging potatoes to come to london, marcomini's career started as a dancer but he always knew his first love was music. having left rural england to also join the big bad city, BrotherSnare's life evolved as a producer and as a percussionist extraordinaire delighting many club nights with his beautiful hand skills...the previous super geeks met when they were recruited to form a short lived band called masse... when the band stopped being (it was a bit rubbish) marcomini and Brother Snare decided to continue their musical journey and created eightyfive...KISS OUR RETRO KISS OUR RETRO KISS OUR RETRO.
eightyfive combines fresh and catchy melodies with dance beats; lyrics are tinged with humour and stories of everyday life. ‘We enjoy making music sprinkled with an 80s synths sensibility. but above all we enjoy making music you can

we don't waste time with highbrow dance music: eightyfive is all about FUN so cover yourself in chocolate spread, join in and KISS OUR RETRO!..our first three demo offerings are Destiny,an 80s flavoured piece of camp electro pop about standing still (!); 1985, an unashamedly sing along track about growing up hating your parents and falling in love with the wrong people..feelings I'm sure we all share regardless the decade we were born..Believe, the obligatory survival and defiant song (screw you potato diggers!).
