Their music is a direct reference to their sources and earliest musical influences, that is 80’s thrash and bands such as SLAYER, EXODUS, POSSESSED & KREATOR whilst at the same time keeping in touch with the contemporary face of the idiom as this is expressed by bands such as theHAUNTED and DEW-SCENTED while parallely incorporating the European melodic sense of CARCASS and AT THE GATES. Speed, melody, heaviness, shredding but also a focus on mature songwriting. the SOURCE are accomplishing this ambitious and extreme sonic combination by means of utilizing their multi-year concert, recording and label experience in Greece and abroad.
