About Me |

photos courtesy nattyann Rather than conforming to a predetermined style of music, the guys in New American Groove choose to play an eclectic mix of songs spanning several different decades and genres. Formed in 2004, the band has continued to build a strong following in the Upper Ohio Valley. At its core, New American Groove is comprised of two members: Justin Rector and Johnny Whorton; sometimes acoustic, and sometimes accompanied by their very talented friends, the Groove will gladly rock your party or turn your honky tonk into a dance hall. Coming from very different backgrounds, the guys strive to keep their musical roots while navigating styles from old school country to metal to jam band. Check out a show and see what it's all about. The following slide show is to feature our friends and show you how they love to get their GROOVE on . . . | View Show | Create Your Own |
