The New York City-based band, The Relyx, is well known for its edgy, soulful rock sound that seems to have time-traveled into the instruments of its four members. Ferociously noisy, deceptively melodic, and surprisingly unique, the group creates a sound that is raw and emotional, which can especially be heard during the band's high octane performances. The deep soul of Nathan Lacy's wide ranging vocals coupled with Jeremiah Furr's rugged blues-drenched guitar and backed by the solid groove of bassist Dan Ayalon and drummer Scott Laughlin melds to create a powerful, visceral concoction.
