| Die Songs sind Exkursionen in seriöser Singer/Songwriter-Tradition mit einem Touch von James Taylor und Sting. Die Musik ist immer die Landschaft für die einzelnen Songs, welche wiederum einzelne, geheime Orte darstellen. Die Musik von Volkwin & Co. hat Einflüsse von Rock/Pop, traditioneller Folkmusik und Jazz. In den Texten sind Menschen und natürlich das Leben selbst die Quellen der Inspiration."Wir denken, dass Dir unsere Musik einen Hauch vom Leben aus unserer Region vermittelt, aber auch einen Touch von nordeuropäischer Nachdenklichkeit mit einer leichten Prise ostwestfälischer Sinnlichkeit gibt."Volkwin & Co. spielen auf der Bühne im Trio und arbeiten im Studio mit unterschiedlichen Musikern und Besetzungen. Sie treten in Clubs und Konzerthallen in und um Lippe und darüber hinaus auf und spielen hauptsächlich eigene Songs aus der Feder von Volkwin. Volkwin & Co. absolvierten bereits mehrere Fernsehauftritte und verschiedene Radiosendungen. Neben der CD SIGNALE haben sie die Maxisingle DEUTSCHLAND und das Live-Album UNTERWEGS veröffentlicht.Neben den 14 explosiven, groovigen und auch sinnlichen Songs ist besonders das Cover-Artwork hervorzuheben. Der in Fachkreisen weltweit anerkannte Graphiker, Musiker, Beatles-Freund und zweifache Grammy-Gewinner Klaus Voo´rmann erstellte das Frontcover exklusiv für Volkwin & Co. Parallel zur CD erschien das Cover als Kunstdruck in limitierter Auflage. Der Kunstdruck ist von Klaus Voormann signiert und nummeriert. ____________________________________________________________

The songs are journeys written in the true singer-songwriter tradition with a touch of James Taylor and Sting. The music paints a landscape for each individual song, which in turn depicts a single, hidden place. Volkwin & Co.’s music is influenced by rock/pop, traditional folk music and jazz. People and of course life itself are the sources of Volkwin's lyrical inspiration. "We think that our music transmits a sense of life in our region, along with a bit of Northern European pensiveness and a bit of East Westphalian sensuality." Volkwin & Co. perform as a trio on stage and in the studio work in different line-ups and a variety of musicians. The group performs in clubs and concert halls in and around the German town of Lippe and mostly play their own songs, penned by Volkwin. The group has appeared on several television and radio programmes. In addition to their CD ‘SIGNALE’, they have also released the single ‘DEUTSCHLAND’ and their live album ‘UNTERWEGS’. Together with its 14 explosive, groovy and sensual hits, Signale’s cover artwork is also one of the album’s highlights. Designed exclusively for Volkwin & Co. by the world-renowned graphic designer, musician, Beatles friend and two-time Grammy winner Klaus Voormann. The front cover was released as a limited edition art print at the same time as the current CD ‘Signale’ was released. The print is signed and numbered by Klaus Voormann.Sting at the Berklee College of Music in Boston: "Music puts me in touch with something beyond the intellect, something sacred.
