| Her mom’s an opera singer and her dad sings folk songs and plays guitar, so it makes sense that Eleanor Whitmore can play fiddle AND violin. What’s the difference you might ask? One night you might see her sitting in a string quartet, and on another, you may see the stage lights shining on her flaming red hair in a rock club, or even playing the mandolin. It means she can play in tune and …AMAZING!Eleanor has performed in orchestras with Dianna Ross and Andrea Bocelli. She has toured and performed with Slaid Cleaves, Jack Ingram, Chris Masterson, Bruce Robison, Kelly Willis, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Tom Freund, Ana Egge, Susan Gibson, Rod Picott, and Alex and Bonnie Whitmore, just to name a few. She has recorded most notably with Slaid Cleaves, Bruce Robison, Susan Gibson, Lloyd Maines, and Terri Hendrix.Eleanor is finally getting some of her own music going, so look forward to hearing more soon. | |
