| Since forming in Dec 2006 Liz Is Evil have made two television appearances on TG4. Subsequently they were invited by RTE to perform and record live in studio 8 for Dan Hegarty's radio show and to perform as part of the 2fm 2moro 2our during the Summer playing to full house audience in April.
Hot Press voted their then unmastered demo as Pick of the Fortnight in the June issue ten edition. ''Great stuff to annoy the neighbors with'' - Jackie Heathen. This led to more radio play both in Ireland and the States.
Singing tales of rural woe, paganism, anti-psychiatry, urban observations and general disillusionment - here is Liz Is Evil...

Music:Member Since: 1/31/2007Band Members: Jay (Drums); Stu (Bass, vox, guitars); Baz (Guitar, vox, bass, harmonica) Influences: Screaming Trees, Ramones, the Stooges, Velvet Underground, Ministry, Meat Puppets, Porno for Pyros, Pistols, Pop Will Eat Itself, Beat Happenning, The Fall, Joy Division, Mark Lanegan, PiL, Lou Reed, mood swings, live performances like Primal Scream, Devo and Mudhoney, traditional influences blowing in the wind. Sounds Like: ...punk/rock n' roll/metal/traditonal.
