Music:Member Since: 1/28/2007Band Members: This is not a band, just nonsense Influences: Beethoven and Joy Electric, I like to think. Not that my music sounds like Beethoven’s or Joy Electric. Sounds Like: It sounds like music, hopefully. It is pretty strange, but I have fun. I’m not really sure why I make it. But as long as I am having fun, and few people like what they hear, I am happy. I suppose it sounds like Wendy Carlos’s ’Switched on Bach’ albums. But keep in mind, my synthesizers are not moogs, and my music is not Bach. So it’s quite different really, just the same idea of somewhat classical music on synthesizers. But honestly, I hadn’t heard anything by Wendy Carlos until after I started making this, if you believe it. I use jeskola buzz, and a PAIA fatman midi synth, various samples, and a diy analog modular synth, in Frac-rack format. A PAIA 9700 , some Cat Girl Synth circuits , and several music from outer space circuits Also, very recently I have come across a Casio SK-1 cheapo sampler that I am having fun with. Also, I have an upright bass that I have considered implementing in some way with Nikmis. It hasn’t happened yet though. Type of Label: None |
