This is one of those rare groups that love what they do and nowhere is it more evident than the interaction between the band members, and when they take the stage. ~~
CommonGround performed over 90 shows in 2007 and continues to reach new areas and venues as 2008 gets underway. Their versatile style, ability to cross genres, and high quality vocals keep them booked months in advance. They continue to play festivals, nightclubs, weddings, birthdays, and indoor/outdoor events. ~~
CommonGround plays originals, top 40 country (ie. Sarah Evans, Jason Aldean, Sugarland and Little Big Town), rock (ie. Sheryl Crow, Audioslave)and southern rock (ie. Lynyrd Skynyrd, Alabama) along with a lot of classic rock such as The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac. They are able to cross genres so easily because they work only with accomplished musians. ~~
Fans enjoy CommonGround's professional sound and vocal harmony blend with Darrell Eads, Jr. on the Guitar and Lead Vocals, Will Flores on Drums, Karen Bradberry on Lead Vocals and percussion and Lori Dean on Back-up vocals. ~~
This band began as a duet with Darrell Eads, Jr. and Karen Bradberry. They have added an entire band for larger venues but frequently perform as a duet for many local shows and festivals. ~~

We are a vocal group, first and foremost. We really enjoy the blend of harmony vocals that we have. We have a kick-ass guitar player, who in my book is irreplaceable. We have good chemistry and we really try to share that energy with the audience. We love the cover tunes we do and choose them because they give us a chance to do what we like best, show off. We have the best shows when the crowd is excited about the music, dancing, singing along and requesting songs.
~~We love to perform, we have made that no secret. We have also been making frequent trips to Nashville to collaborate with songwriters we have met and in our spare time we have been writing songs together. Make no mistake, we are still learning what it means to collaborate, but have quickly recognized that the benefits of collaboration far outweigh the costs. So if you haven't heard us lately, you might enjoy these new additions. As you know, the duet thing is how we started though and still do many of our shows that way...
