playin' at the New Orleans Superdome to a near sold out crowd for the Essence Music Festival. Performed w/Chris Brown (and Bow Wow who made a guest appearance), who graced the stage right after Rihanna, and right before Kanye closed the night out. Got to play with the legendary Gerald Heyward on drums and "Natural" on the guitar. Even though I was just fillin' in (Courtney, thanks again!), it was the moment I'd been waiting for. . . the moment when I actually said to myself while looking out at the tens of thousands of spectators, "I'm living my dream. . .
