| Come On Baby is another one of those elusive basement tapes that was forgotten about four years. Featuring John Lee ..s ...... Colin Walker on Drums......and Cory Turnbull on Bass. This one has a pretty good grinding grooveWhistle Blowin. I dug this one out of the archives. This one was done at the Hut years ago and forgotten about. Randall Coryell on drums Cory Turnbull on bass and John lee ..s i hate the vocal and it needs to be replaced but the track is pretty good .........Don’t Wanna Catch You, was recorded live off the floor at Grosswashrooms Tavern in Toronto using a Tascam 20 channel board direct to dat two track stereo. The song features Cory Turnbull on Bass and Vocals, Jackson Meyers on Guitar, Marty Cordrey on Drums and me on Guitar and Vocals............Hock’s Blues was recorded the same way as the first two songs with John Jackson sitting in on guitar left, Cory Marty and myself and The Hock making it up as he goes. He was a character.... One of the funny parts of this recording was Hock yelling out Mike McDonald on Guitar when acually it was John Jackson who did the first solo. Then he said my name again never looking back. When my solo came up, Pat Rush who was downstairs on the board knew what was going on and went a little crazy on the delay unit..............You have got to love those moments........................... Tired Of The Same Old Rut, was recorded By Russ Forfar at Grosswashrooms Tavern using two Radio Shack PZM microphones taped to the walls and or celing direct to an Akai quarter track 7 1/2 ips tape deck. The players on this song are Colin Walker on Drums, Leo Valvasorri on Bass, Brian Fraser on Piano Russ Williams on Guitar and Vocals and me on Guitar and Vocals.Kudos to Russ Forfar for capturing hundreds of hours of many Toronto musicians. Great moments that would have been lost forever. Just think,if we all had Hilton money a lot of REAL.., talented people would have a moment in the sun. | |

You know what musicians are like..................One of my favorite ( tender moments ) was Hock Walsh, calling me up on a Tuesday, after dinner and saying,,,Ahhh,, Mike, I've got fifty bucks here, that say's you'll be at the Pinetree tonight. ...........Done! Influences: .............................Now that i have over 100 friends, i don't need any more influences for a while........................................... Just think,, if all of them showed for my next cookout with a 24 each, the neighbors would, not, dare, call the cops............................We have been subject to a lot of good and bad ones. Funny how it goes ,some of the bad ones are good for you and some of the good ones are bad for you..........I'll just keep trying to be me Sounds Like: Toronto Musicians.............................. Some of the best and some of the worst....................................................... ...................... I think thats a word now............... A lot of other bands but we sure have fun.
