| X RAY SURFERS - seit 1992Ur-Gründungsmitglieder sind Carsten Hessler -Drums- (vorher Waisted Horseskulls & Die Flinken Flaschen), Marcus Beatty (vorher Mistaken Brains, Couch Potatoes) -Vocals & Guitar-. 1993 stießen Uli Monjau - Bass , sowie Sigi Geis -Vocals- hinzu. Nachdem Sigi Geis die X RAY SURFERS 1998 verließ, übernahm Marcus komplett den Gesang. 2000 kam Jürgen Fleischer (vorher und jetzt wieder Die Flinken Flaschen) als zusätzlicher Gitarist hinzu.Uli verlies die X Ray Surfers im Januar 2007. .. Feb. 2007: Jens Trogisch (Die Flinken Flaschen, ehem. Recap after Use & Backdoors) bereichert XRS und übernimmt den Bass.The roots of XRS are Carsten Hessler -Drums- (Waisted Horseskulls & Die Flinken Flaschen) and Marcus Beatty (Mistaken Brains 1986-1988, Couch Potatoes 1988-1990) -Vocals & Guitar-. Both playing in different Bands. Carsten came from the Punk Rock side, while Marcus played in several Hardcore Bands. Carsten and Marcus met in 1990 playing melodic Hardcore combined with thrash metal. The were always guest musicians and great sessions at Carstens parents cellar. 1993 Uli Monjau - Bass and Sigi Geis -Vocals- joined the band and the X Ray Surfers were born. Sigi Geis left the X RAY SURFERS in 1998.2000 Jürgen Fleischer (Die Flinken Flaschen) came as additional guitar player and plays now the lead guitar. Uli left XRS in January2007.
