| www.myspaceeditor.it.. :::::::English:::::::The Band PSICOSUONO was born in Milan in 2004, when Stefano De Marchi (guitar) and Elisabetta Giglioli (vocalist and percussion) decided to start a brand-new rock progressive project up; their idea was to contaminate rock progressive with funky/blues/jazz/classic influences, using an original Italian poetic language to create the lyrics. The other band members – Antonello Colamonaco (bass) and Emanuele Luisi (drums) – joined the PSICOSUONO project in a second time, but their particular musical experiences immediately shaped the PSICOSUONO sound. PSICOSUONO is a neologism to express the aim of the band: let the listener’s mind explore its light and dark sides, through poetry and emotions. The band participate in various Italian music competitions, and give concerts especially in Milan and in the other areas of Lombardy; you can read news, see photographs and listen to mp3 visiting the official website of the band: www.psicosuono.com, which has also an English section. The band is now working at its first album, for the indie label Ambrosiana. ____________________________________________________________ ____ :::::::Italiano:::::::Gli PSICOSUONO nascono nel 2004 a Paderno Dugnano (MI) su iniziativa di Stefano De Marchi e di Elisabetta Giglioli. Con la collaborazione di Emanuele Luisi e di Antonello Colamonaco prende vita un progetto rock originale aperto a contaminazioni jazz, blues, funky e classiche. Il nome “PSICOSUONO” é evidentemente un neologismo coniato per indicare la volontà della fomazione di esplorare, attraverso un suono originale ed evocativo, gli spazi misteriosi e reconditi della psiche e dell’animo umano. Attivo soprattutto in Lombardia, il gruppo si esibisce in numerosi concorsi per gruppi emergenti, tra cui “Omaggio a Demetrio Stratos”, “Le Trottoir”, “BresciaOnLine”, “Red Rock Festival”, "Dream Wave Contest". Ultime importanti esperienze della band sono la partecipazione al MEET 2007 (la Fiera degli strumenti musicali di Milano) e al Music Village 2007 di Montecampione. I testi degli PSICOSUONO sono tutti in italiano, ed unitamente alla rispettiva musica sono iscritti in SIAE a nome di Stefano De Marchi. Il gruppo è dotato di un proprio sito internet, il cui indirizzo è www.psicosuono.com. Gli PSICOSUONO stanno attualmente preparando il loro primo album, prodotto dall'etichetta indipendente "Ambrosiana" (uscita prevista: febbraio/marzo 2008), con Livio Magnini (Bluvertigo, Rezophonic, Jetlag) in veste di Produttore Artistico. | |
