Reverend Spook DJ Rev. Spook is the founder of the all ages goth nights at sumshees as well as co-founder the past legendary MSL Goth / Industrial nights. A true veteran of the Punk, Goth and EBM scenes. Reverend Spook spins a wide variety of genres and styles. He has been described as the "infamous dance floor menace of Louisville". Unfortunately Spook no longer lives in Louisville, as he has moved back to his home town of Atlanta. Count Grozny DJ / Promoter Count Grozny plays an assortment of styles ranging from Industrial, EBM, Electro-Industrial, Future Pop, Deathrock, Goth, Horror Punk to Psychobilly. He started DJing late 2006 at the legendary Sumshee's all ages nights. Since Spook's departure to Georgia, DJ Count Grozny has taken over the All Ages events. He also sets up local shows and is a resident DJ for the Confuzion goth nights. Paulfear DJ Paulfear started DJing in 1996. He operated the experimental drum & bass record label FEAR RECORDS as well as several other various record labels. He spins industrial, ebm, techno, dnb, rhythmic noise, goth, downtempo, experimental, breakcore, power noise, ambient, electro, idm and more... DJ Kaleidoscope DJ DJ Kaleidoscope is a resident DJ for the Confuzion goth nights. She has traveled the states and has DJed at many large profile festivals, clubs, concerts etc. She specializes in dark, harsh and evil Elektro and EBM music. DJ Sorrow Vomit DJ DJ Sorrow Vomit was a member of the original "triad" in collaboration with Rev. Spook, Motuvius and Kent @ MSL Goth Nights. He is an avid collector of extremely rare goth recordings. He spins underground coldwave, dark wave, gothic, minimal electronics, postpunk, deathrock, obscure new wave, dark synth, etc... He is the source of most knowledge of music within the scene as he is the local guru of gothic and industrial music. His impact on the scene at large is immense. Motivius DJ Motuvius was a DJ member of the original "Triad" in collaboration with Rev. Spook, Sorrow Vomit and Kent @ MSL Goth Nights. He began spinning in 1993 as a resident DJ at Hounds Tooth in Chicago, IL and has been an off and on member of one creative underground scene or another since the mid 1980's in various cities. He is best known for his support for the Dark Folk/Classical genres and a taste for the more traditional Industrial era. Though clubs demanded the more dance oriented genres of dark culture; and he played many a Futurepop/Synthpop tune: he was never afraid to push the unexpected and often uncomfortable set on those that needed a good dose of force feeding. Motuvius is currently immersed in his artistic pursuits with his visual art narrative "The Legend Of Gurdy Tiller". Kent Cothran Promoter Kent (aka Kynt) has been an extremely influential promoter in the gothic and industrial scene of louisville for many years. He is widely credited for bringing the scene its finest 'glory years' and has set the foundation for years to come. He has recently taken time away from his promoting to focus on other ventures. He has also been on the reality TV show "The Amazing Race". Shane AKA Sideshow Advertisement / Host Shane is the host of the all ages goth nights, if your new and don't know anybody, just talk to him! He has been an advertiser for goth related events in Louisville for many years. |
